Here at Whitchurch Road Surgery, we are able to provide a full range of contraceptive services.  If you are looking for contraception, please review the informative leaflets and appropriate weblinks for further information to help you decide on the best form of contraception for your needs. Please be aware this is not for emergency contraception.

Oral contraception & contraceptive injection information

If you feel oral contraception, contraceptive patch or the contraceptive injection are best for you, please complete the form below.

Please be aware an up-to-date blood pressure and weight will be needed – these can be done with home machines, alternative places to check include local pharmacies.

Implant or coil information

If you would like to have an implant or coil, please read the relevant leaflet, watch the NHS video links and complete the necessary form. Please submit to reception via the email above and book an appointment with Dr Towner.

For all forms of contraception and HRT please allow at least 7 working days for the form to be processed. If necessary, the doctor will contact you for more information.
