S278 WORKS TO SACHVILLE AVENUE
We are writing to inform you PM Groundworks will be undertaking re-surfacing works at Sachville Avenue and the works will commence on Monday 2 April 2024. These works form part of the health centre development and are required and approved by Cardiff County Council.
It is anticipated that these works shall take 10 weeks to complete, assuming no significant adverse weather conditions are encountered or unforeseen delays to works are experienced.
The location of the works will be primarily on Sachville Avenue from the junction of Whitchurch Road to beyond the entrance to the medical centre. There will be no parking allowed on Sachville Avenue in the vicinity of the works for the duration of the works.
Access to the following properties/facilities will be maintained throughout the works:-

Whitchurch Road Health Centre
•
All Nations Church
•
Sachville Court
•
Allotments
Access to Heath Gospel Hall will be via Curll Avenue for the duration of the works.
In order to ensure the health and safety of the site operatives and public, localised traffic management measures shall be implemented by the contractor throughout the works. All efforts shall be employed to keep disruption and obstruction to a minimum, and access to your premises will be maintained.
Please be assured that we shall be fully complying with all necessary health and safety requirements and will be liaising fully with Cardiff County Council.
General hours of work are 7.30 am to 16.30 pm Monday to Friday.
It is acknowledged that this will cause an unavoidable element of disruption for private vehicle access and egress in the short-term for which we apologise in advance. Please be assured that emergency access shall be maintained with the site work is underway.
